Good to know

Is it free?

Yes. Last Light of Hearthhold is free to play and has no ads.

Is there an app?

Last Light is coming to Google Play for Android phones. Until then you can play free in your browser, and your hero comes with you to the app once you've secured your account.

Does my hero really play while I'm away?

Yes. While your torch burns (12 hours, longer with upgrades) your hero keeps climbing, fighting and looting, even with the game closed. Opening the game tops the torch back up.

How do I keep my hero safe?

You start as a guest. Open the menu and secure your account with a username and password so you can play on any device and keep your hero when you change phones or reinstall.

Is it always online?

Yes. The world is shared: other heroes in town, the Titans, guilds and the Arena all live on our server, so you need a connection to play.
